About Orbits

Practical technology, grounded security, and a simpler way to help people build and protect what they rely on.

Orbits started with a frustration that many people and small organizations know too well: IT often becomes expensive long before it becomes useful.

A basic website, reliable hosting, support, backups, monitoring, email, maintenance, and security should not immediately turn into vague packages, recurring costs, and technical language that makes smaller teams feel like they need enterprise budgets just to be taken seriously.

We took a more practical route. Orbits grew from building websites, hosting projects, helping people get online, and solving the technical problems that usually land on someone's desk when they already have enough to do. Some of it began as hobby work. Some of it came from a simple belief: small requests should not have to become a consultancy circus before something useful happens.

Security First

The deeper foundation was always security. Our background is in the forensic and security side of the digital world: understanding incidents, tracing what happened, seeing how systems are abused, studying malware, and helping organizations protect themselves without pretending every problem needs an enterprise-sized answer.

Built to Be Usable

That perspective shapes how we work. We believe good technology should be practical, honest, and accessible. Security should be part of the foundation, not an expensive afterthought bolted on once everything is already fragile.

Who We Care About

We care especially about freelancers, small businesses, non-profits, local initiatives, and community organizations. These are often the groups with the least spare time, the tightest budgets, and the most direct consequences when something goes wrong.

What That Means in Practice

That is why Orbits works across websites, hosting, monitoring, automation, email analysis, malware research, and practical security tooling. The goal is not to drown people in jargon, fear, or bloated reporting. The goal is to help them build, understand, protect, and improve their digital environment in ways that are actually useful.

A hacked mailbox, broken website, lost account, or phishing incident can do real damage to smaller teams. We want that to be less normal. Digital safety should be reachable for the people who usually get priced out of it.

Some of what we do is commercial, because reliable work takes time, infrastructure, and maintenance. At the same time, we want to leave room for people and organizations doing meaningful work who need practical help without the usual IT pricing nonsense.

Orbits is here for the practical side of technology: building, hosting, protecting, investigating, explaining, and improving. No inflated promises. No mystery language. Just useful technology, grounded security, and a digital world that should be safer for more people than only the ones with the biggest budget.
